And He is definitely doing that, but I have this tendency to fight Him every step of the way without even knowing it. I've been singing this song frequently over the last few years and I've been begging God to use me and to make my life meaningful. You know what that song is for you.ДЇor me, that song is Hillsong UNITED's 'Oceans.'ДЄnd yes, I know it has been way overdone and loving it shows how millennial I am, but I just don't care, because it's my song.ДЄnd this is the song that played in the middle of this mundane moment, and though I've heard this song a million times, one line jumped out to me, and it was almost as if it was the first time I'd ever heard it: The song that makes you feel as if your soul is on fire and might actually leap out of your body.

The songs you have to close your eyes for because the Lord's presence is so strong while you sing, that you just can't break the authenticity of the moment by looking at the physical realm. the song that makes you feel as if God is sitting on His throne right in front of you and nothing else exists. You know what I mean, the ones that you can't help but belt out and hang on every line. God showed up.ДЄfter listening to a few happy, feel good songs my playlist kicked it up a notch and played some REAL worship songs. Why don't I do that? Why do I reserve worship as a Sunday morning activity when it should be an every day activity? So today instead of listening to my usual #throwbackthursday playlist, I cranked some worship and let me tell you. David sang and danced before the Lord in his own home frequently. I don't typically listen to my own music throughout the day, as my phone is usually hijacked by a 'wheels on the bus' enthusiast, but during worship at church last Sunday I found myself thinking, 'Man, I wish I got to do this more often' to which God replied, 'Why can't you?' I immediately felt convicted.

Today, in the midst of my typical routine, while my toddler gleefully tossed fish sticks on the floor as I mercilessly scrubbed the pan that 'needed to soak' from last night, I experienced one of these moments.
